“I get my figures from real life, I shape and search their colours continuously until I finally find them.

A memory, a seen moment or a thought can start me. When I decided what kind of story or figure can express that I would like to show, I work out directions and scales on sketches, I take it to the canvas and I give the final mood for the picture with the colours an their rhythm.

I never paint the reality, yet my paintings show it more honestly, shaping and dressing it in other colours, and let my thoughts and feelings play truly.”
